  10 June 1943 Evening News of the Tonawandas Mrs. Barbara Meisenburg Mrs. Barbara Meisenburg, 53, died this morning after a prolonged illness at the family home, Lockport avenue, Town of Pendleton. She was born in Austria and had lived in this country about 25 years. She is survived by her husband, John, two daughters, Geraldine, at home, and Mrs. Elmer Zastrow of North Tonawanda; three sons, Peter, at home; Sgt. Adam of San Fernando, Cal., and Seaman, 1st Class Franklin Meisenburg of Tillamook, Ore. Also by five grandchildren, her mother-in-law, Mrs. Adam Meisenburg of Tonawanda and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Snitzer of Schoendorf, Austria. Funeral will be Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the home and at 9 from the church of the Good Shepherd with the Rev. Anthony Nichter officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
