  Lockport Union Sun & Journal, June 18, 1955 Christian Sprung Succumbs at 80 Christian C. Sprung, a retired employee of the former Thatcher Manufacturing Company, died Friday at Lockport City Hospital. Born in Wolcottsville, Feb 15, 1875 he was the son of Charles and Minnie Luedtke Sprung. Surviving are his wife Augusta Reggentine. one son and three |daughters, Edwin W., Edith, Mrs. Lloyd Lauer Mrs. Boyd Wilson, all of Lockport, and four sisters and four brothers, Albert, Gustave, Mrs. Harry Dillingham, all of Buffalo; and Mrs. Bertha Marnitz, Mrs. Wendal Kater, William, Edith Sprung, Walter, all of Lockport. Funeral Services will be held at the Sprung home 252 Caledonia St., Monday at 2:30, the Rev. Herman Meier officiating. Burial will be at Wright's Corner Cemetery.
