  Alice Louise Alexander, age 82 of the Town of Wheatfield, NY, entered into rest on November 13, 2017 at Buffalo General Medical Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Lockport, NY on August 2, 1935, daughter of the late Wallace and Mary (Monkelbaan) Moje. Alice was a 50 year member of the Shawnee Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, where she held many offices over the years, and a member of Liberty Pennsylvania Ladies Auxiliary. She was previously employed at a phone company, Swenson's Home Improvements, and Brauer's Restaurant.  Predeceased by her husband, James N. Alexander on March 23, 2012; a son, Kenneth; and a brother, Robert Moje. Survivors include six children, William (Sandra) Singleton, Karen (Michael) Schleicher, Richard (Cheryl) Singleton, Peggy Warne, Diane Salverson, and Mary (Thomas) Schneider; and four sisters, Rosemary Miller, Ann Maerten, Barbara Hobart, and Rickie Moje. Friends are invited to join with the family, at the Shawnee Fire Company, Lockport Road, Wheatfield, on Tuesday, November 21 at 5:00 p.m., with a celebration of Alice's life at 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shawnee Ladies Auxiliary, or Niagara Hospice. Arrangements were with the DuBois Funeral Home.
