He was predeceased by his parents, Clifford Zastrow and Margaret Evans Schmidt, brother Dennie Zastrow, and sister Crystal Schultz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs, Maggie Mae and Lucy Sue.
He was well known for his love of Nascar, the Bills, and his football pool. He was also known for his famous wings. Dale was a custodian at NCCC for 19 years. He also served in the Army.
