Felix Belczak, 72, of 8 Eighth
Ave., North Tonawanda, was pronounced
dead on arrival at 12:35
p.m. today at DeGraff Memorial
Hospital after suffering an apparent
heart attack at his home.
The first aid squad of the fire
department was called and administered
oxygen to him before
he was taken to the hospital.
Mr. Belczak is the father of Jo-
seph and Felix Belczak, who are
paid members of the fire depart-
ment. Joseph is an assistant fire
chief while Felix is a driver.

Felix J. Belczak, 71, of 8
Eighth Ave., died unexpectedly
Tuesday (Jan. 8. 1963). He
was pronounced dead upon
arrival at DeGraff Memorial
Hospital after suffering an
apparent heart attack at his
home.
He was born in Poland and
lived in this city for 53 years.
He operated his own blacksmith
shop for 28 years and
later was employed by the
Buffalo Bolt t o .
He is survived by his
Widow, Mrs. Victoria Litwinski
Belczak; three sons, Felix,
Joseph and Casmir Belczak,
all of this city; three daughters,
Mrs. John (Mary) Bromka,
of Syracuse, Mrs. Charles
(Regina) Foti and Mrs. Fred
(Florence) Symes, both of
this city; two sisters, Mrs.
Josephine Sparkowicz and
Mrs. Walter (Lotte) Helinski,
both of this city; four brothers,
Stanley and Joseph Belczak,
of this city and Louis
and Leon Belczak, of Poland,
and 17 grandchildren.
Prayers will be said at 9:30
a.m. Saturday at Pawenski
Funeral Home followed by a
Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. at
Our Lady of Czestochowa
Church. Burial will be in
Mount Olivet Cemetery.
The family will be present
at the funeral home from 2-4
and 7-10 p.m.
