died Dec. 9,2001.

from Syracuse University in 1952.
He had worked at General Electric
Co. and Agway and was a member
of Holy Cross Church in DeWitt.
He as an Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Mary J.; a
daughter, Cynthia Skafidas of
Liverpool; two sons, John E Jr. of
Marcellus and Joseph J. of Richmond,
Vt, and one grandchild.
Services were private. Burial St.
Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. There
were no calling hours. Fairchild &
Meech DeWitt Chapel, DeWitt, had
arrangements.
