  BELCZAK Irene (nee Gabrys) Of North Tonawanda, passed away October 26, 2019, at home under the care of Niagara Hospice surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of retired North Tonawanda Fire Chief the late Joseph Belczak. Loving mother of Joseph (Lorraine), Michael (Ann) Belczak, Barbara (Vincent ) Pecoraro and Patricia ( Mark) Wieclaw; sister of Joseph ( Esther) Gabrys, late Helen Daniel and late Edward Gabrys. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday 4 to 8 PM at the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 Meadow Dr., N. Tonawanda. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM from Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish, 626 Oliver St. N. Tonawanda (please assemble at church). Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Following retirement Mrs. Belczak pursued her interest in oil painting and created over 150 pictures for family and friends.
