The marriage of Miss Mary
Belczak, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Stanley Belczak of 2 Eighth
Ave. to Edward Wolak of Detroit
was solemnized Saturday morning
in OLC Church. The Rev.
Emil Bogumil officiated.
The bride wore a white satin
gown with a lace trimmed bustle
and a fingertip veil of illusion
fastened to a Dutch style crown.
Slie carried a prayer book with
a cascade of orchids and lilies-ofthe
valley. She was given in marriage
by her father.
Miss Helen Panek as maid of
honor wore a gown of Dubonnet
w: th velvet bodice and full taf"
feta skirt. Miss Helen Duplickii
bridesmaid, wore a similarly
styled gown of rose color. Their
bouquets were cascades of Virginia
carnations and acacia.
Stanley Maziarz attended the
bridegroom as best man and the
usher was Emil Belczak.
Mrs. Belczak the bride's mother
chose a brown crepe dress trimmed
with sequins and wore a
corsage of roses and gardenias.
The bridegroom's mother could
not attend because of illness.
A wedding breakfast was
served to 100 gjuests at Topolski's
restaurant whefe the bride's table
was decorated with white snapdragons
and jonquils and centered
with a wedding cake flanked
by tall tapers. Out of town guests
were from Detroit, Cheektowaga
and Lackawanna.
Mr. and Mrs. Wolak are at
home at 2 Eighth Ave.
