SENECA FALLS - Mrs. Ruth E.
Burghduff, 79, of 253 Fall St., died late
Thursday at the Seneca Falls Hospital
following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m.
Sunday in the Sanderson Funeral Home.
The Rev. William R. Knox, pastor of
First Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Spring Lake
Cemetery.
She was the widow of Morris J. Burghduff.
Friends may call at the Sanderson
Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today
and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
Born in Tyre, May 29, 1893, the
daughter of Mervin and Eva Gartner
Belknap, she was a nurse last employed
at Ft. Plain Nursing Home, Ft. Plain.
She returned to Seneca Falls in 1965. She
was a member of First Presbyterian
Church and Westminster fellowship, the
Sunflower Twig of the Big C Anna
Brown Guild of the Seneca Falls
Hospital, and Seneca Grange No. 44.
Survivors are one son, Ray A. Donselarr
of Savannah; two daughters,
Mrs. Frank (Isabell) Vest of Ft. Plain,
and Mrs. Earl (Freda) Warner of
Albuquerque, N.M.; five brothers,
Emmett Belknap of Syracuse; Keith of
Owasco; Dorsell of Auburn; Roscoe and
Paul, both of Skaneateles; three sisters,
Mrs. Mylisa Dreythaer and Mrs.
Madeline O'Brien, bom of Owasco, and
Mrs. Addie Coggens, Skaneateles; five
grandchildren; one great-grandchild,
and several nieces and nephews.
