auto accident in South Caro-
lina Saturday, will be held at
1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the
Wattengel Funeral Home,
Rev. Paul W. Czamanske officiating.
Burial will be fa
Elmlawn Cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Lance were
killed instantly in a headon
collision about five miles
south of Allendale, S.C., on
Route 301, Saturday night,
while returning from a vaca-

Mr. Lance, 53,.was born in
Niagara Falls and was employed
as budget manager at
Columbus McKinnon Corp.
He was a member of the company's
Foremen's Club. His
wife, the former Marjorie
Bell, 54, was born in St. Catharines,
Ont. Both were members
of Immanuel Lutheran
Church.
Survivors Include a son,
Michael Leonard Lance, a

three daughters, Miss
Lynette Lance, a student at
Corning Community College,
Mrs. David Berhalter and
Mrs. Hubert C. Peace, this
city, and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Lance is survived also
by two brothers, Donald K.
and.Willis F. Bell, and three,
sisters, Mrs. Raymond
Phelps, Mrs. James Hankmson
and Mrs. Charles De
Dario, all of this city.

LANCE - Leonard W. Lance,
53, of 223 Kohler St., Tonawan-
da, died unexpectedly Saturday
(Nov. 26, 1966) at Allendale,
S. C.
Born in Niagara Falls, N.Y.,
he was a member of Immanuel
Lutheran Church and was em-
ployed as budget manager at
Columbus McKinnon Corp.,
where he was a member of the
Foremen's Club. Husband of the
late Marjorie Bell Lance. Sur-
vived by three daughters, Mrs.
Hubert (Judith) Peace, Mrs. Da-
vid (Terrie) Berhalter and Miss
Lynette Marjorie Lance, and a
son, Michael Leonard, all of
Tonawanda; a sister, Mrs. Alex-
ander Thoumire, Ithaca, and
two grandchildren.
Friends may call Tuesday at
the Wattengel Funeral Home
Inc., 307 Oliver St., North Ton-
awanda, where services will be
conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednes-
day. the Rev. Paul W. Czaman-
ske will officiate. Burial in Elmlawn
Cemetery.
