Sheehan passed away on December 23, 2012 at her home under the care of Niagara Hospice and her step-daughter-in-law, Patricia Sheehan. Born in Wilson on February 10, 1918, she was the daughter of Walter and Clara (Donner) Schnoor. She worked in production for 36 years at Newfane Felt. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Charles Sheehan, in 1988. Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Interment was in St. Peter's Cemetery, Cambria.
