NORTH TONAWANDA —
Lillian (nee Kohler) Heckman, age 78, of North Tonawanda, died on Sunday, May 26, 2013, after a brief illness. Born in North Tonawanda, NY to the late Clarence and Gwendolyne (Hunter) Kohler, she had been a resident of North Tonawanda for over 50 years. Lillian was a member of Tonawanda Free Methodist Church in the City of Tonawanda.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jacob S. Heckman; a son, Michael J. (Barbara) Heckman of the Town of Wheatfield; two grandchildren, Taylor and Sara Heckman; two sisters, Gwendolyne "Betsy" (late Richard) Becht of Springville, NY, and Gloria (Bill) Doel of the City of Tonawanda, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family will be present on Thursday, May 30th from 4-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (Between Morgan & Broad Sts.) City of Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be held at 8 PM following the visitation. Rev. Donald L. Mohr will officiate. Private burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery, Tonawanda.
