  Geneva NY Daily Times - 10/27/1951 Penn Yan, Oct. 27-Claude Bellis, 74, died at his home in the town of Gorham yesterday after a brief illness. The body is at Hobart funeral home, Rushville, where funeral service will be Sunday at 2:30 p. m. Rev. Clyde Hurlbutt of Gorham Baptist church will officiate. Bur- ial will be in Gorham cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sarah Bellis; four sons. George, Geneva RD-1; Herman, Penn Yan; Clarence. Rochester; Gordon, Mid- dlesex; five grandchildren; three brothers, Roland, address unknown; Staeey, Binghamton; Earl Niagara Falls and a, sister, Mrs. Mildred Stocking, Waylaid.
