GORHAM - Maurice (Bob) Gage
was honored at a retirement party held
at the home of his son-in-law and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James
(Sandy) Brodnicki in Stanley on
Sunday, Dec. 1 from 2 to 6 p.m. Mr.
Gage will retire on Dec. 27 after
working for 32 years at Comstock
Foods in Rushville.
, Mr. Gage was born and raised in the
town of Gorham and is the son of the
late Lorenzo and Maude Gage. He
joined the Comstock Company in 1942
as part of the field department. In later
years he was an interplant truck
driver and at the present time is
towmotor operator.
Approximately 100 friends and
relatives attended the surprise party
in his honor hosted by his family, Mr.
and Mrs. Morris Gage of Middlesex;
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gage of
Canandaigua, Mr. and Mrs. James
(Sandy) Brodnicki, Stanley and Miss
Patricia Gage who lives at home with
her parents on the Gorham Rushville
Road. The Gage family has lived in
their present home on the late William
Rex farm for 28 years.
Mr. Gage received many gifts including
a money tree presented to him
by his co-workers. Guests were
present from Rushville, Stanley,
Rochester, Penn Yan, North Rose,
Newark, Canandaigua, Phelps, Seneca
Castle, Shortsville, Naples, Middlesex
and Gorham.
