Jean C. Hardy, age 82, of North Tonawanda. Jean worked as a dental receptionist for over 50 years, and was an active member of the St. Johnsburg Ladies Auxiliary Club. Above all, Jean loved her family and enjoyed the time she spent with them. She also loved to play bingo, going to the casino, and trying her luck with scratch off tickets. She was also an avid collector of owls. Jean had a talent of always making the best of any situation.
She is predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert Hardy. Also predeceased by her siblings, Grace Hills, Joseph Trinkwalder, and Barbara Russell.
She will be missed by her sister Mary Marshall. Cherished mother of Jill (George Martin) Mordick, and Steven Hardy; Loving grammy to Pamela McKinney, Michael Mordick, Lukas, Ruby, and Joy Hardy; Beloved great-grammy to Michael and Murphy McKinney. Jean is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call at Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St, at the corner of Ward Rd. on Sunday from 2p-4p and 6p-8p. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 10a. Interment at Acacia Park Cemetery.
