R. Leslie Penman, 73, of
40 Pennsylvania Ave., Denver,
Colo., formerly of 457
Seventh St., this city, died
Thursday (Sept. 23, 1971) after
a lengthy illness.
Born in Scotland.he came
to Niagara Falls in 1927.
He worked with Niagara
Mohawk Power Corporation
from 1927 to 1963, when he
retired. He lived in Denver
since 1967.
He was a member of the
Grand Lodge of Masons in
Scotland and the Moose Lodge
here.
He is survived by his widow,
Helen; two daughters,
Mrs. James (Mary) Walker
of Denver and Mrs. Gerald
(Jean) Haseley of this city;
one brother, Harold Penman
of Scotland; six grandchildren
and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be
held Monday at 2 p.m. at
the Cornell and Daggett
Chapel, with the Rev. J..
David Mumford, pastor of
Zion Lutheran Church, offi-
ciating.
Burial will be in Acacia
Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the
chapel Saturday from 7 to 9
p.m. and Sunday 2 to 5 an d
7 to 9 p.m.
