- Philip W. Barger, Sr passed away September 11, 2024 in Mercy Hospital of Buffalo. Born December 5, 1956 in Coal Run, PA he was the son of Calvin and Betty (Salsgiver) Barger. Philip worked for Father Sam’s Bakery in Buffalo. He was an avid sportsman, enjoyed the outdoors, and especially loved being with his family and grandchildren.
Philip is survived by his wife Patti (Peters) Barger; sons Philip (Alexis) Barger and Adam Barger; granddaughters Christina, Adriana, and Ella Barger; great granddaughters Leilani and Elliana Barger; siblings Calvin E. (late Nancy) Barger, Jr., Thomas (late Sally) Barger, Barbara Barger, Dorothy Balcom, Sharon (Gary) Hassell, Juanita Livergood, Michael (late Carol) Barger and late Robert and George Barger; also several nieces and nephews.
