- Life Story
Jacqueline (nee Ferro) Lauer, 60, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed from this life on November 7, 2022, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, while
under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born on December 26, 1961 in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carole (nee Cimino) Ferro. On April 25, 1981, Jacquie married Kevin Lauer.
Jacquie graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School. For many years, she owned and operated an in-home daycare. She was also employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse, working for Niagara Hospice, in Northgate Health Care facility for 3 years. Family was everything to Jacquie. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and adored her cats.
In addition to her loving husband, Jacquie is survived by children, April Lauer, Krystle Lauer, Michael (Lysette) Lauer and Alexandria Lauer; grandchildren, Joseph, Antonio, Michael, Jaxson, Sophia and Mila; her sister, Kimberly (Darryl) Benham; special nieces, Erika, Jessica and Christina Benham and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Jacquie was predeceased by brothers, Michael and Joseph Ferro.
The family will be present to receive friends on Saturday, November 12th, from 5-7 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where a brief prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Professional arrangements are under the care of the Goodlander family.
