  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 7/21/1959 Fifteen Years - 1944 Christian F. Bobzien, elderly Burt farmer, is gored to death by bull ALSO Lockport NY Union Sun Journal BURT - Testifying to the esteem of a wide circle of friends, approximately150 relatives and friends attended the funeral Tues- day afteernoon, of Christian F. Bobzien Sr., lifelong resident of this locality. the display of floral tributes was large and beautiful. Chairs had to be placed in the aisles and rear of St. John's Luth- eran Church, Drake Settlement Road, where rites were conducted following a service in the home. The Rev. William H. Dallmann officiated. Bearers were six nep- hews: Howard and Norman Bob- zien, Lockport; Elwood Miller, Cam- bria; Lawrence Bobzien, Coomer Road; Walter Bobzien, Lockport- Olcott Road, South, and Doval Whitehead, Burt. Burial was in Corwin Cemetery.
