- Debra A. (Ackerson) Hinman, lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 1, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was 55. She was born in Niagara Falls on August 21, 1962, a daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Lauzau) Ackerson. She graduated from LaSalle Senior High School and worked as an office manager at Botanicus Interior Landscaping until her passing.
Debbie loved her dogs, camping in the Adirondacks, and enjoyed her wine while sitting at a bonfire.
She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Daniel Hinman, her step-son Daniel (Tiffany) Hinman, Jr., three siblings: Robert (Janet) Ackerson, Bill Ackerson and Dennis (Kelly) Ackerson. She is also survived by her mother and father-in-law Gerald and Rosemary Hinman and 6 brothers and sisters-in-law: Joseph (Kathy) Hinman, Jerry (Patty) Hinman, Val (Robert) Dolengo, Patricia Major, John Hinman and Rose (Robert) Galvango, 5 step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue on Sunday from Noon until 4 P.M., where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 AM followed by entombment in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in Lewiston.
