  Niagara Gazette - 10/2/1962 LOCKPORT - Mrs. Katheryn A. Sloss. 47. of 46 Oakmont Ave.. Buffalo, a former resident here, died Monday (Oct. 1, 1962) at Deaconess Hospital, Buffalo. She had been in ill health for several years. Mrs. Sloss was b o r n at Churchville, N. Y.. March 20. 1915. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ward F. Benedict. She attended Lockport schools and moved to Buffalo about 10 years ago. Surviving besides her par- ents are her husband, Ernest Slass, and a son, Ernest A. Sloss, both of Buffalo, and seven brothers, Joseph E. Schur, Toronto, and Delos, Earl, Norman, Ward, Orlo and Glenn Schur, all of Lockport. Friends may call at Lange Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday by Rev. Robert E. Heffner of First English Lu- theran Church. Burial will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
