  Avon NY Herald News - 1/27/1971 HENRY W. BENEDICT Funeral services were held Wed.. Jan. 20 for Henry W. Benedict, 81, of West Lake Rd., Geneseo, who passed away Jan. 16. He was a carpenter and house-builder for more than 50 years and the father of Benedict Bros, who built houses in West View Crescent, Geneseo. He is survived by his wife, Genevieve Baker Benedict; three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Edith) Worden, Mrs. Samuel (Beatrice) Jackling and Mrs. Robert (Genevieve) Dardenne; sons Douglas, Gene, Dallas and Earl, all of Rochester, and Gary of Geneseo; brothers Ward of Lockport, Norman of Rochester, Glenn of Florida; all retired carpenters, and Earle of Florida; 30 grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren, and several nieces and npehews
