Chili Station. Aug. 24.—The funeral
of Charles F. Baldwin, one of the best
known residents of the town of Chilis
who died suddenly last Sunday morning,
w a s held from the home of his father-in-law.
Delos Benedict, one mile west of
this village, this afternoon. Rev. F S.
Dickerson, pastor of the North Chili
Methodist Episcopal Church, officiated.
Interment was In the family lot in the
North Chili Methodist cemetery.
Mr. Baldwin, who w a s the son of the
late Amos and Mary Baldwin, w a s born
64 years ago on the old Baldwin homestead,
a short distance from the farm on
which he died.
Besides his wife. Cora Benedict Baldwin,
he leaves one brother, Frank Baldwin,
of Rochester.
