Charles A. Benedict, 75, of
Pekin Townline Road, formerly
a farmer at Molyneaux Corners,
died Saturday (April 23, 1966)
at Roswell Park Memorial Institute
in Buffalo.
He was born Nov. 7. 1800 at
Gasport, the son of Allen and
Frances Benedict.
Mr. Benedict operated a fruit
and vegetable farm at Molyneaux
Corners for 37 years. He
had made his home in Pekin for
16 years.
He was a former member of
the Niagara County Farm Bureau
and a member of the Holy
Name Society of Immaculate
Conception Church at N o r th
Ridge.
Surviving an bit widow,
Ruth H. Benedict; a son, Maj.
Allen Benedict of Ent Air Force
Base, Colorado Springs, Colo.;
a daughter, Mrs. Emer Boll of
Kenmore and four grandchllren.
Also surviving are three sisters,
Miss Mary Benedict and
Mrs. Dayton Hardison, both of
Ransomville, Mrs. Charles
Goetz of Niagara Falls; two
brothers, Roy Benedict of Ran
somvUle and George Benedict
of Niagara Falls.
A service will be conducted
at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in the
Hardison Funeral Home, Ransomville.
The Rev. Francis T.
Cronln, pastor, will celebrate a
Requiem Mass at 10 in Immaculate
Conception Church. Burial
will be in North Ridge Cemetery,
The Holy Rotary will be recited
at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the
funeral home.
