SLACK - Clarence V. Slack. 67,
of 546 Prospect Ave., North Tonawanda,
died unexpectedly Monday
evening (Dec. 10, 1962) at De-
Graff Memorial Hospital. Born in
Anderson, W. Va., he had resided
in North Tonawanda for the past
50 years. He was a member of
Niagara River Lodge 524, IOOF;
Sikora Post American Legion;
veteran of World War I; mem-
ber of the Bllue Jackets Club of
the Auxiliary Police of North Ton-
awanda; president of Niagara
Falls Kennel Club, and was a past
president of the Great Dane Club
of Western New York. Survivors
include his wife, Marjorie (nee
Bennett) Slack; three daughters,
Mrs. Alice Jumper of Long Beach,
Calif., Mrs. Elmer Crandall, Ti-
tusville, Fla., and Mrs. Richard
Wellenc of North Tonawanda;
three osns, George, Bruce and
Charles Slack, all of North Tona-
wanda; five grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; one brother,
Daniel Slack of North Tonawan-
da, and two sisters, Mrs. Roy
Bradfield of Niagara Falls, N.Y.,
and Mrs. Bessie Barnhard of New
Matamoras, Ohio. Friends may
call at the Hilliard Funeral Home
Inc., 147 Delaware St., Tonawan-
da, where services will be at 2
p.m. Thursday. Burial in Acacia
Park Cemetery. Military rites by
Sikora Post.
