  Niagara Gazette - 2/17/1970 Joseph Reubens, 97, of Shortsville, f a t h e r of a Ransomville man, died i n Shortsville Monday (Feb. 16, 1970). A native of Belgium, he had lived in this country since an early age and had resided in the Shortsville area most of his life. He was an employe of the Lehigh Valley Railroad for many years prior to retirement. Among his survivors are sons Harold Reubens of Ransomville and Henry Reubens, formerly of' Sanborn, now of Honeoye Falls. He also is survived by six other sons and two daughters. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at Shortsville and burial will be in that community.
