MIDDLEPORT, May 29.-Mrs.
Mary Strebe, 72, died yesterday morning
at her home In Washington street
after a long Illness. She leaves one
son and three daughters, Mrs. J. B.
Nudd, of Mlddleport; Mrs. Robert
L. Pogson, of Hollywood, California;
Mrs. Arthur Lord, of Buffalo, and
F. J. Strebe, of Medina; three brothers,
William Bens, Charles Benz, of
Medina, and Fred Benz, of Batavia.
Mrs. Strebe was born in Germany
and came to this country when about
14 years old. She resided In Middleport
for about 35 years. Her husband,
' John Strebe, died about four
years ago. She was a member of the
German Lutheran church at Medina.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow
afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at
the Richardson and Knuebel funeral
home, State street with burial in
Royalton Mountain Ridge cemetery.
The Rev. Theodore Kuehner, pastor
of the German Lutheran church, of
Medina, will officiate.
