  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 5/29/1950 James C Burd, 59, of 1029 Oliver St., died this morning in the Buffalo General Hospital. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda he was employed as a moulder in the Tonawanda Foundry. Surviving are his wife Alice, nee Benzinger; two sons, Elmer of North Tonawanda, Robert, U. S. Army, stationed in Denver, Colv a brother Richard T., three sisters, Mrs. Eugene Dryer, Mrs. Conrad Metzger and Mrs. James Robinson. Services will be Thursday at 8 a. m. in the Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam St., and 9 a. m., in St. Francis Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John A. Weismantel will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.
