Clarence W. Benzino, 64, a sergeant,
in the Tonawanda Auxiliary Police,
died today at DeGraff Memorial
Hospital after a short illness. He resided
at 35 Maple St., Tonawanda.

Born in Buffalo. Mr. Benzino
had resided in Tonawanda over
the past 50 y e a r s , and was
formerly employed at the
Remington Rand Corp (Tonawanda
plant) for many years
before being employed by the
Denny Machine Co. for the last
year He was a sergeant in the
Tonawanda Auxiliary Police
Dept
Surviving are his wife. Arlene
O. (nee Miller) Benzino. a son.
Lawrence W. Benzino; a
granddaughter. Pamela Jean
Benzino. all of Tonawanda; two
sisters Mrs Harriet Leber of
Buffalo and Mrs Milton
Shettler of Hamburg, NY.; a
step-sister. Mrs Margaret
Benzino. and a step-brother
Clyde Cain, both of the Tonawandas
The family., will be present
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. at
the Hamp Funeral Home Inc..
Adam - Seymour Streets.
Tonawanda, where services will
be conducted at 11 a m Friday
by Rev. Paul W. Czamanske.
Interment in Elmlawn Cemetery
