MARTIN - Frederick W. Martin,
86, of 160 Hagen Ave., North
Tonawanda, died Saturday (June
2, 1962) at Ms home after a long
illness. Born in Port Dover, Ont.,
Canada, Mr. Martin had resided
in the Tonawandas for the past
been chairman and director of
the Schenectady alumni section.
He is currently employed as a
technical indexer at the Linde
Company plant, Town of Tonawanda.
50 years, and was employed at
Hamp Funeral Home Inc. for
more than 35 years before retiring
five years ago. He was a
member of Broad Street Baptist
Church. His wife, the late Lucy
Beemer Martin, died in August
1960. Surviving are a daughter,
Mrs. Chester Sattelberg; three
granddaughters, Paula, Pamela
and Phyllis Sattelberg; a grand-
son, James Sattelberg, and two
brothers, Harry Martin of Water-
ford, Ont., and Jack Martin of
Kingston, Ont. Friends may call
at Hamp Funeral Home, Inc.
Adam and Seymour Streets, Ton-
awanda, where services will be
at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev.
Paul Smithson willl officiate. Bur-
ial in White Chapel Memorial
Park.
