Joseph O. Munz, 17, of Lake
Road, Sea Breeze, special deputy
sheriff and private night petrolman
in Brighton, died yesterday morning
in the Highland Hospital several
hours altar ha was struck by
an automobile in Clover Street
Muna, according to Depu'y
Arthur Kleinhammer, was struck
by a machine driven by Wentworth
Crouch, 30, of 61 Beverly Street,
who was passing another machine.
Crouch was taken into custody but
released after his statement was
taken.
Munz leaves his wife, Mrs. Olla
Bement Munz; two daughters, Miss
Olla F. Munz and Mrs. Earl Mar-
batta; a brother, Frank Munz; four
sisters, Mrs. Mary Hanf, Mrs.
Charles Schenkel, Mrs. Peter Wolf
and Mrs. Frank Munz, and a
grandchild.
Mr. Muns was a veteran of the
Spanish-American War. Funeral
services will be conducted Monday
at 390 o'clock at the home of his
daughter, Mrs Karl Marbatta, 370
Fernwood Avenue, with the Rev.
Walter Krumwtede. minister of
Grace Lutheran Church, officiating.
Burial in Pittsford Cemetery win
be attended by military honors in
charge of L. Bordman Smith Camp,
United Spanish War Veterans.
