Everett Bender, son of Wilson
Bender, was found dead by his
father in the garage at the Bender
farm home about 6 o'clock Wednesday
morning. Investigation by
Coroner Dr. J. D. Boyd showed
that death was due to asphyxiation
by carbon monoxide fumes from his
car. The body was under a blanket
behind the car. The blanket covered
the body and the car exhaust.
Everett Bender was born December
30, 1900, the son of Wilson and
Clara Rowe Bender. His mother
died two years ago, February 15.
Since her death he and his father
have lived on the farm alone. Besides
his father the deceased is survived
by two sisters, Mrs. Ransford
Eaton of Liverpool and Mrs.
Alton Niles of North Chittenango;
also by two brothers, Robert Bender
of Cazenovia R. D. and Morton
Bender of Jamesville. Plans call
for the funeral to take place Saturday
at 2 o'clock from the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Niles. Har-.
old W. Estes, acting pastor of the
Presbyterian Church here, will officiate.
Burial will be in Oakwood.
