FREDERICK KIPHUTH
Frederick Kiphuth, 78 years old,
died yesterday afternoon at the
home of his daughter, Mrs. William
Grobe, 32 Walter avenue,
after a brief illness with pneumonia.
He was a life-long resident
of Tonawanda and a member
of the Salem Evangelical
church and the Home Department
of the church. Surving are two
daughters, Mrs. Grobe and Miss
Mabel Kiphuth; a son, William;
two grandsons, Leonard and William
Grobe; a brother, John, Orlando,
Fla., and three sisters, the
Misses Amanda and Lena Kiphuth
and Mrs. Louisa Kratt, all
of Tonawanda- Rites will be held
Saturday afternoon at 2:30 from
the Grobe residence. Rev. Walter
F. Hetzel will conduct the service
and burial will be in Salem cemetery.
Mr. Kiphuth was a member
of Tonawanda Council, No. 117,
Jr. O.U.A.M.
