LOCKPORT — Ricky A. Washburn, 61, of Lockport, entered into rest on April 1, 2013, at his home surrounded by family and friends. Born January 14, 1952 in Canaseraga, NY to Robert M. Washburn of Lockport and the late Yvonne V. (Sherman) Morris. Survived by his stepmother, Shirley J.
Ricky is survived by his spouse, Barbara Lamont and five children, Ricky Jr. of Albion, Tina and Melissa Washburn, Dianna Sponaugle, all of Middleport, and Daniel Bootes of Lockport; seven grandchildren, Richard (Cathy) Wright, Ayla, Randy, Sylvia, Nathan, Austin and Giana; great-grandchildren, Aroura, Ayva, Aylana and Addison; and his estranged wife, Lillian Washburn.
Ricky is also survived by several siblings, Diane (James) Zimmerman of Tennessee, Guy (Chris) Taylor of Penfield, Alex (Merika) Morris, Eugene Washburn of Niagara Falls, Scott Washburn of Cheektowaga, Kenneth (Janet) Washburn, Ronald (Kathryne) Washburn, Robin (David) Nashwinter of Ransomville, Paula (Gary) Holzman of Newfane, Edward (Liz) Washburn, Darlene (William) Taylor III, Frank (Casey) Washburn, Katherine (Fred) Sherman and Derrick Washburn, all of Lockport, and the late Robert Jr. and Donna Washburn. Also several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins; friends, Shirley Spencer, Bruce Spencer and Ed Fura, Brian (Michele) Spencer and family, Robert (Helen) Human and Linda Mulcahy, all of Lockport.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 4, at 2:00 PM at 274 Chestnut St., Lockport. Memorial donations may be sent to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.
