- Lucille (Longo) Berard, 71, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in St. Mary’s Hospital, Lewiston, NY after a brief illness. Born in Mount Morris, NY she was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Megliore) Longo.
Lucille is survived by her two daughters, Susan Berard and Jennifer Torres; her only grand-children, Jordan and Taylor Brooks; Aunt, Leoanita Lawson and Uncle Earnest (Mary) Longo; loving niece and nephew, Jodi Vaccaro and James J. Alexander; life time friends, Barb and Ronald Courts and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Debra Alexander.
Lucille lived most of her life in the Niagara Falls, NY area. She was currently working as a secretary for NTS Data Services and Dual Printing Inc. a division of Compu-Mail of Grand Island, NY. Lucille loved the people she worked with.
Lucille’s life was surrounded around her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grand-children and taking them to Game-Stop. She attended the Riverside Presbyterian Church, Niagara Falls, NY and during her spare time she enjoyed reading and shopping.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 5th from 4 - 7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGRA FALLS, NY where funeral services will immediately follow at 7 p.m. Burial in Acacia park cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
