A beautiful wedding was solemniz-
ed at 6.30 p. m. when Miss Margaret
Elizabeth Berean, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Horace G. Berean, became
the bride of Paul Dygert Wyckoff of
Albany, Ga.
The garden of the Berean home, In
Hamburg, furnished an artistic spot
for the ceremony, which was performed
before a background of evergreens,
on either side of which were
tall vases of garden flowers. The
Rev. Frank O. Leonard officiated.
The bride, who was given away by
her father, was beautifully gowned
hi ivory satin, the bodice, fitted to
the figure at the high waistline by
deft touches of shirring, had a
plain oval neckline and long tight
sleeves. The skirt was very long and
flaring and a wide band at the hips,
coming to a point in front, formed
the long train. Her long tulle veil
was fastened to a lace cap, which
a as edged with orange blossoms at
the back. She wore white moire
slippers and carried a lovely bouquet
of white roses, Illy of the valley,
sweet peas and orchids.
Miss Mary Alice Berean, sister of
the bride was maid of honor and
her only attendant. She wore a
gown of turquoise blue crepe with
a tight bodice, having an oval neckline
mode low at the back and bordered
with ecru lace. The skirt was
long e.nd cut on circular lines and
she wore beige slippers and can-led
a bouquet cf mixed summer flowers.
Willis D. Cuddeback was best man
and the ushers were John H. Berean,
Horace G. Berean Jr., and Charles
L. Kilborne.
A wedding reception was held immediately
after the ceremony in the
garden. Mrs. Berean, mother of the
bride ,wore a distinctive model of
black chiffon velvet made on long
lines, the skirt paneled and the
straight bodice having a yoke studded
with ma.rcasite. She wore a narrow
belt of the velvet at the high
waisteline and black moire slippers.
Mrs. Wyckoff, mother of the groom,
was wearing a gown of black lace
made in the new mode and fashioned
on lines of ride simplicity.
Out-of-town guests were Mr. and
Mrs. Leroy Wyckoff and Mrs. Charles
Wyckoff of Albany, Ga.: Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Kilborne of Moravia,
N. Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Conkling,
Jr., of Olean, N. Y.; Mr. and
Mrs. Arthur Treman of Ithaca, N.
