- Life Story
Marguerite R. (nee Craig) Bauer, also known as Marge, 83, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away on October 2, 2022. Born on November 17, 1938 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alvin E. Craig and the late Marguerite E. (nee Perkins) Gibbs.
Marge was a lifelong area resident and graduated from LaSalle High School. She was employed in all aspects of the restaurant business, working for many local establishments. Marge was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, the Buff Social Club and the LaSalle Sportsmens Club. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and cooking.
Marge is survived by daughters, Rosalyn (Terry) Hoover and Marguerite (Joseph) Dimino; grandchildren, Rachel (Jerry) Hoover, Tabitha (Nathan) Hoover, Anthony (Clair) Cadorette, Craig Cadorette, Sarah (Jose) Hoover, Breanna (Brian) McCarthy and Frank (Maura) Dimino; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Jerry Amrhein, Nathan and Madison Booth, Owen and Haylee Torres, Chloe, Natalie and Zoe Cadorette; a sister, Cheryl (Steve) Koleck and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Marge was predeceased by a daughter, Suzanne J. Cadorette; former spouse, Chester S. Pysz; her husband, Clarence R. Bauer and her brother, John F. (Betty) Craig.
The family will be present on Friday, October 7th, from 3-7 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Marge’s life celebration and funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch officiating. Private prayers of committal and interment in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one's choice. Professional arrangements are under the care of the Goodlander family.
