- Marilyn A Rougeux, 86, of Easton, PA, formerly of Liverpool, passed away on Friday morning, July 5, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Rougeux. They were married for 47 years prior to his passing. Born in Niagara Falls, she was a daughter of the late Adelard and Elise (Flanagan) Bergeron.
She graduated St. Mary's High School in Niagara Falls Class of 1951. She enjoyed working at ATT as a telephone operator after high school and later in retail at Chappell's department store.
Marilyn was proud of living and contributing to the Bayberry Community for over 50 years. She was involved with all the activities of her five children, a faithful parishioner of Christ the King Church and a 20-year volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse. Creative, faithful, and fashionable she will be remembered through her bunny collection, her lime green Jell-O mold at Thanksgiving, her chocolate chip cookies, making magic happen at Christmas and birthdays, and encouraging curiosity.
Her sister Marguerite Kerwin predeceased her. Survived to cherish Marilyn's memory are her sisters, Shirlee (Robert) Berry of Pittsford, NY, Joanne Corsaro of Albany, NY; and brother, William (Francine) Bergeron of NV and OH. Her enduring love will be felt by her surviving children, Richard (Kaaren) of Las Vegas, NM, Francis of Londonderry NH, Joanne (Christopher) Nadovich of Easton, PA, Patricia (Mark) George of Middletown, NJ, and Douglas (JoAnne) of Syracuse, NY. Grandchildren, Robert, David, and Brian George, plus Thomas and Julia Nadovich, along with several nieces and nephews, will miss Grandma Camera. A special great-grandson, Harry Jeter Caplan also survives her.
Sincere and heartfelt thanks to all who cared for Marilyn while living in PA, Country Meadows of Forks Township, Millbrook Home HealthCare, and St. Luke's Hospice.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Friday, July 12 at Maurer Funeral Home, Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY.
