A wedding.trip to Florida has been selected by Mr. and
Mrs. Thomas J. Rougeux, who were wed this morning in a
10 O'clock ceremony at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. The bride is the former Miss Marilyn Ann Bergeron daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A, W. Bergeron, Michigan Ave,, and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. M. F. Rougeux, Eighth St., and the late Mr. Rougeux.
The double-ring ceremony was
performed before the altar decorated
with white gladioli and
carnations. Miss Eleanor Vanderhoff
was the organist.
Given marriage by her
father the bride wore a gown of
lace and nylon tulle fashioned
with a portrait neckline and lace
extending into the bouffant skirt
of pleated tulle over satin. Seed
pearls enhanced the bride's crown
which held her fingertip-length
Veil of French illusion. She carried
a prayer book adorned with
a white orchid.
Miss Shirlee Bergeron was her
sister's maid of honor and Miss
Alice Dukat and Miss Helen
Kieron were bridesmaids. They
wore "apple blossom pink" nylon
organdy; frocks with tucked
bodices and sunburst pleated
skirts with matching sashes. Picture
hats. completed their ensembles.
Miss Bergeron carried a
spray bouquet of blue delphinium
While the bridesmaids: carried
spray bouquets of pink pompons.
Miss Joanne Bergeron, sister
of the bride, and Miss Mary
Louise Mitchell, niece of the
bridegroom were junior bridesmaids,
in embroidered pink or-
gandy dresses with colonial bouquets
and tiny wreaths of pink
pompons.
Robert Rougeux was best man
for his brother. Guests were seated
at the ceremony by Joseph
Williams and Robert Moody.
The mother of the bride chose
a mauve rose lace dress, with
white accessories. Mrs. Rougeux
favored a powder blue lace dress
with matching accessories. Each
wore an orchid corsage.
The breakfast was served at
Hotel Niagara for the immediate
family and was followed by the
reception at the Red Coach Inn.
For her wedding trip, Mrs.
Rougeux has chosen a charcoal
brown sheath dress with white
lace accessories and an orchid
corsage. After July 10, the couple
will reside at 536 15th St.
