NIAGARA FALLS — Marjorie M. (Wells) Kuchy, longtime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 27, 2013. She was 97. She was born in Stamford, Ontario, Canada, on July 19, 1916, a daughter of the late William A. and Mary A. (Robins) Wells.
She moved to Niagara Falls in 1930, graduated from Trott Vocational School and was naturalized as a United States Citizen in 1941. Mrs. Kuchy was a proud housewife who enjoyed animals, gardening and cooking.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter P. Kuchy in 1970, and is survived by her four children, Lillian Hitchcock of Lawrenceville, NJ, Ray Kuchy of the Town of Niagara, Don Kuchy of Barker, NY, and Ted Kuchy of the Town of Niagara. Marjorie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Lillian M. Learn Bodie (2013) and Franklin Wells.
There will no prior visitation and burial will be private in Riverdale Cemetery in the Town of Lewiston.
