NORTH TONAWANDA-
Mrs. Lillian M. Berhalter, 69,
of 815 Ruie Rd., a retired registered
nurse, died Thursday
(March 24, 1960) in DeGraff
Memorial Hospital after a
lengthy illness.
Born in Limestone, N.Y.,
Mrs. Berhalter lived in this
city for the last 32 years. She
was a graduate of Sisters of
Charity Hospital, Buffalo, and
practiced pricate general
nursing and later worked at
DeGraff Hospital for eight
years prior to her illness.
She was a member of St.
Joseph's Church and of the
Ladies of Charity of Ascension
Church. Her husband,
John J. Berhalter, died in
1947.
Surviving .are a son, Richard
J. Berhalter, this city; a
step-daughter, Mrs. Joseph J.
Glaser, Town of Tonawanda;
a sister, Mrs. Paul Tolin, Elizabeth,
N.J.; three brothers,
Harry J. Frohnappal, Bradford,
Pa., Francis M. Frohnappal,
Redlands, Calif., and William
J. Frohnappal, Limestone;
and four grandchildren.
Prayers will be said at 9:30
a.m. Monday at the Roth Funeral
Home, followed by a
Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. at
St. Joseph's Church. Burial
will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
