  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 3/24/1961 BERNDT- Edward W. Berndt, 86, formerly of 132 State Road, Lockport, died Thursday (March 23, 1961). He was the father of Mrs. Michael Brant of Tonawan- da and Herbert J. of the Town of Royalton. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great - grand- children and one great-great- granddaughter. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Gaul Funeral Home Inc., 263 East Ave., Lockport, where the funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday. Interment in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
