  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 11/26/1943 Mrs. Paul Berndt of Niagara street received word yesterday of the death of her brother-in-law, William Berndt, 66 years old, who died Thursday at Warsaw, N. Y. Born and raised in North Tonawanda he lived here until 1929. He la survived by four brothers, Ernest 847 Oliver street, Frank who lives in Niagara Falls, Edward, a resident of St. Catherines. John of Cambria. He was a brother of the late Paul Berndt of Niagara street.
