  May 15, 2013 Richard C. Tussing The Tonawanda News NORTH TONAWANDA — Richard C. Tussing, age 86, of North Tonawanda, peacefully May 15, 2013, at his home. Richard was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion Wheatfield Post. He was a former employee of Durez and a member of the Gratwick Hose Fire Co. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was the son of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Henneberger) Tussing. He was the husband of the late Joan P. (Eagan) Tussing. Beloved father of Deborah (Ted) Maier, Patricia (Alan) Fronczak, Thomas (Julie) Tussing, Lynda Sumi, Tracie (Ken) Zortman and Barbara (Giuseppe) Saieva. Grandfather of 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Bernice Schreiber and Raymond Tussing; uncle of several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda on Friday from 4-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 9 AM.
