  Of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his residence.    He was born in Salamanca, NY on September 29, 1935,  the son of the late Ardell and Ruth (Stoddard) Ball. Mr. Ball graduated from Salamanca High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, where he played basketball with his unit.    After the war, he moved to Niagara Falls where he became a Security Investigator with the New York   Telephone Company, until retiring in 1989. Mr. Ball was a great  supporter of his son and grandsons sporting events. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed spending time at his camp and on hunting trips. He was a member of the Lewiston Jaycees, and a fan of the Bills and Sabres. Mr. Ball will be remembered as the family organizer. He is survived by his wife  Evelyn "Mary" [Berthot] Ball, a son Tim (Jackie) Ball, two grandsons Cullen and Ryan Ball, also  many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at a later date. Mr. Ball donated his body to the University of Buffalo Anatomical Gift Program.
