  June 13, 2013 Samuel Thomas Battles IV Lockport Union-Sun & Journal NIAGARA FALLS — Samuel Thomas Battles IV, died suddenly in Buffalo on June 10, 2013. He was the son of Samuel and Wendy (Hornung) Battles III. Sam was born in Buffalo on March 18, 1987 and graduated from Lockport High School in 2005. He enjoyed all sports, especially basketball, hockey and football. His children were his life and he loved spending time with them. Surviving him are his two children, Christopher Thomas, Caylee Marie; and their mother, Amy Bierzynski, all of Lockport; brothers, Eric, Jeff, and Matt Battles; sister, Kielyn Battles; and their mother, Renee Battles all of Buffalo. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends and relatives may call on Saturday, June 15th from 2-4 PM at the Ross Funeral Home Gaul Chapel, 263 East Ave., where a Funeral Service will take place at 7 PM.
