LOC K P O R T-Mrs. Helen
M. (Coulter) Bewley, 63, of 534
Locust St., died today (June
12, 1965) at her home after
suffering an apparent heart
attack.
She was the widow of
George R. Bewley, former
Owner of the Lockport Canning
Co. He died Oct. 30, 1963.
The fire department first
aid squad was called to the
Bewley home at 8:36 a,.m. to-
day after Mrs. Bewley suffer-
ed the attack. Firemen work-
ed with an inhalator for 50
minutes before she was pro-
nounced dead by a family
physician.
Born April 2, 1902 in the
Town of Cambria, the daugh-
ter of Willis and Ella Jacob-
son Coulter, she was educated
in Wilson schools and was a
graduate of the Middleport
Teachers Training School. She
taught in the Town of Cam-
bria schools for several years.

Guild, the Lockport YWCA,
Emmanuel Methodist Church
and its Woman's Society of
Christian Service.
Surviving are two daughters,
Mrs. Marcus (Donna)
Enos and Mrs. Douglas (Carol)
Molntosh, both of Lockport;
two sisters, Mrs. Albert Mc-
Arthur, Bansomvlile, and Mrs.
Ethel Bichards, Lockport; a
brother, Alvin J. Coulter,
Lockport,' six grandchidren
and severa nieces and nephews.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday
friends may call at the Lange
Funera Home where the family
will be present from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral arrangements
will be announced
later. ^
The family requests that
memroials be made to the
memorial fund of Emmanual
Methodist Church.
