  EUGENE N. "Gene" HOFFMAN Eugene N. Hoffman, of Lockport, NY, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, in North Gate Manor. He was born in the Town of Wheatfield on August 28, 1926, the son of the late Ezra and Iva (Bush) Hoffman. Mr. Hoffman served in the US Army during WWII. He was employed with Allan Herschell for many years, building Carousels. He also worked with American Coaster Company in maintenance and Niagara Falls Fabricators as a welder. Mr. Hoffman was an all around handyman who built his own home. He was a very active member at St. Paul's United Church of Christ with his family. He enjoyed playing cards, spending time with his friends and will be remembered as a true family man. Mr. Hoffman is survived by his wife Norma J. (Hall) Hoffman, daughter Diane M. Hoffman and son Robert W. Hoffman. Graveside Services will be held at Cold Springs Cemetery,4849 Cold Springs Road, Lockport, NY, on November 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kenneth H. Kolbe officiating. Interment with Military Honors at Cold Springs Cemetery, Lockport, NY.
