Sandy Mearbell, 73, of 1378
Linwood Ave., was pronounced
dead on arrival at Memorial
Medical Center Monday
(March 6, 1972) after being
stricken at home with an apparent
heart attack.
He was a native of Italy and
. came to the United States in
1900. He came to this city in
1928 from Point Marion, Pa.
He was employed by Kimberly
Clark Corp. as a machine
tender for 35 years, retiring In
1963.
He was a member of the
Retired Men's Club.
He is survived by his widow,
Flora of this city; a son,
Gilbert S. Mearbell 6f
Lewiston; three sisters, Mrs.
Joseph (Fanny) Zecco of this
city, Mrs. Nick (Mary)
Richards of Plainville, Conn.,
and Mrs. James (Frances)
Zecco of Shinston, W. Va; two
brothers, Harry Mearbell of
Miami, Fla. and Arnold Biano
of Lockport. He is also survived
by three grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
at the Rhoney Funeral Home
Thursday at 8:45 a.m. and at
Sacred Heart Church at 9:15
a.m. Burial will be in St.
Joseph's Cemetery. .
Friends may call from 7 to 9
p.m. tonight and from 2 to 5 and
7 to 9 pjn. Wednesday.
