Carmen J. Cicco, 76 years old, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at his home. He was born in Niagara Falls on October 5, 1938, the son of the late Carmen and Ernestine (Biano) Cicco.
Mr. Cicco was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. He served with the United States Army from November 28, 1961 until his honorable discharge with the rank of Spec 4 on November 27, 1963. Mr. Cicco worked as an Iron Worker for Iron Worker's Local #9 for 40 years during which time he worked on the Alaskan Pipeline. He enjoyed golfing and bowling, hunting and fishing.
Mr. Cicco is survived by his son, Matthew (Susan) Cicco of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Matthew and Lauren Cicco; his brothers, Joseph (Agnes) Cicco of Niagara Falls, Anthony (Mary) Cicco of Getzville, NY, Arnold (Jackie) Cicco of Lockport, Robert (Jean) Cicco of Belfast, NY; his sister, Helen (Philip) Joncas of Fall River, MA and his great-nephew, Michael Cicco who helped care for him during his illness. He was predeceased by his sister, Frances Holiday.
THERE IS NO PRIOR VISITATION. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, November 26, at 12:00 noon at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue with Rev. Duane R. Klizek officiating. PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Private burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery. ARRANGEMENT ENTRUSTED TO THE LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC.
